DAYTON — A local police department will assist with the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump.

The Dayton Police Department sent dozens of officers to Washington, D.C. to assist with security, according to a post by the department on social media.

Those officers will join law enforcement agencies from across the country to assist with security measures during the swearing-in ceremony of Donald Trump as the 47th President of the United States.
Dayton police also sent officers to Trump’s inauguration in 2017.
