DAYTON — Dayton Police Officers are investigating after two fights led to shots being fired on Sunday afternoon.
The first fight happened on Sunday morning on Oakridge Drive.

As reported on News Center 7’s Daybreak, the second fight and shooting happened in the 100 block of Anna Street before 3 p.m., according to a Montgomery County Regional Dispatcher.

A 911 caller told the dispatcher said that a woman was being shot at.
“They were shooting a bunch of shots, and people are running. Can you send someone?” said the caller.
Sergeant Sara Lipps with the Dayton Police Department told our News Center 7 crew that a fight led to the gunfire.
“A fight earlier in the day, and then they met up for another fight, which escalated to guns being pulled, shots being fired,” said Lipps.
Officers are working to find the person responsible for the shooting.
