I have wanted to be a reporter for as long as I can remember—and I am so excited to be living my dream here in the Miami Valley! I am a proud native Michigander. I grew up in Pontiac, Michigan—just outside of Detroit and graduated from Oakland University in Rochester. Then, I packed my bags and headed north—first working as a reporter in Petoskey, Michigan and then as an anchor in Cadillac, Michigan before joining WHIO in November 2022. I NEVER imagined this Michigander would be packing his bags to move to Ohio—but I truly wouldn’t have it any other way! I think it’s a true privilege to get to tell people’s stories each and every day. I work hard to not just get the facts right—but also the humanity behind each story I tell. I want those I’m interviewing to not just feel like I’m there for a soundbite—but I’m there because I care about our community. I’m excited to explore the Miami Valley and get to know this community. When I’m not out reporting or behind the anchor desk—you can find me walking my rescue pup Cruz, trying a new restaurant or catching up on my all the shows I missed.
