I am the weekend Weather Specialist for WHIO and Storm Center 7. Recently, I was a freelancer for WHIO for the past several months. I have loved the weather and nature since as far back as I can remember as a little kid. I used to post a three-day forecast in my high school library daily as a Junior and Senior. Additionally, having been through two tornadoes growing up, the way weather works has always fascinated me. You will find me reviewing model data frequently and even looking at some historical weather tidbits! Additionally, I take pride in keeping social media platforms updated as frequently as possible. Having lived in Ohio and Indiana for the entirety of my life, I am not a stranger to the various types of weather the Miami Valley gets. Whether we have tornadoes, snowstorms, or even just sunny and calm weather, I find a way to enjoy anything that comes our way. I am currently attending Penn State University to pursue my certificate in weather forecasting. I will also look to pursue my National Weather Association Seal of Approval upon completion of my certificate. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend and our cat named Ike (yes, after the Hurricane), flying my drone, and checking out new places to visit. “I am honored for an opportunity to make my childhood dream come true, and to do it here in the Miami Valley means so much to me.”
