I am the weekend meteorologist for WHIO and Storm Center 7. My television experience has kept me in Dayton since 2022, and I am happy to have been a member of the Storm Center 7 Team since 2023! I attended Penn State University and completed the two-year Weather Forecasting Certificate in 2024. This program enabled me to apply my extensive knowledge of meteorology and further expand my understanding. Recently, I was awarded the National Weather Association’s Digital & Television broadcast Seal of Approval. A fun fact: I am one of only four in the country to hold the Digital Seal of Approval as of late 2025. I have loved the weather and nature since as far back as I can remember, as a little kid. I used to post a three-day forecast in my high school library daily as a Junior and Senior in high school. On perhaps what some may consider a scary note, I have been through two tornadoes in my life. The first one at age 5 really sparked my interest in weather, as I found it very interesting. I am probably the biggest weather geek you will ever meet. You will find me reviewing model data frequently and even looking at some historical weather tidbits! Additionally, I take pride in keeping social media platforms updated as frequently as possible. Having lived in Ohio and Indiana for the entirety of my life, I am not a stranger to the various types of weather the Miami Valley gets. Whether we have tornadoes, snowstorms, or even just sunny and calm weather, I find a way to enjoy anything that comes our way. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend Kaitlynn, our cat named Ike (yes, after the Hurricane), flying my drone, and checking out new places to visit.
