Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Ryan Morando said freezing rain showers will be light and scattered on Saturday, but it could still lead to a .1″ glaze of ice across the region.
This amount of ice will most likely not cause power outages. Slick conditions on sidewalks, porches, walkways and even bridges and overpasses are possible.
Steady precipitation will move into the Miami Valley for the afternoon and evening hours, according to Morando.
Temperatures are expected to climb above freezing, which will result in a very cold rain for the second half of the day.
People in the northern parts of the Miami Valley may still see a mix of freezing and cold rain.
A few snow flurries are possible on Sunday, but accumulation is not expected, according to Morando.
News Center 7 will continue to follow this weather.
