Bitter cold wind chills throughout the Miami Valley; Flood Warning issued for some

MIAMI VALLEY — The region will see bitter cold wind chills and flurries throughout the night.

A Flood Warning has been issued for the Little Miami River in Greene County until 4:16 p.m. on Monday. The Little Miami River in Warren County is on a Flood Warning until 12:13 p.m. Monday.

According to Storm Center 7 Weather Specialist Nick Dunn, wind gusts of 20 to 25 mph will taper off overnight into Monday.

These winds combined with continuous light snow can lead to areas of blowing and drifting snow.

Icy spots on untreated surfaces will also remain possible and low temperatures will remain in the upper single digits to lower teens.

Stray snow flurries are possible on Monday, otherwise, it will be partly cloudy.

Temperatures will be very cold with highs in the upper teens to about 20 degrees.

Dunn said wind chills will be below zero through the morning hours.
