CLARK COUNTY — A semi fire caused challenges for drivers on Interstate 70 on Thursday morning.

Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) troopers and firefighters responded around 4 a.m. to I-70 EB near I-675 on reports of a semi-fire, a fire chief told our News Center 7 crew at the scene.

The driver noticed sparks and pulled over. That’s when the front cab caught fire.
Video and photos show the front cab heavily damaged.
The driver was transporting frozen biscuits.
The right lanes were closed on I-70 EB near I-675 for hours.
The driver was not hurt.
