MORAINE — A driver is dead after a vehicle hit a utility pole and rolled over in Moraine early Friday morning.

Officers and medics responded to initial reports of a rollover crash at the 3000 block of Springboro Pike in Moraine.
The vehicle hit a large utility pole and rolled over, according to Moraine Police Sgt. Andrew Parish.
Medics extricated the driver from the vehicle and transported him to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died at the hospital, Sgt. Parish said.
The northbound lanes of State Route 741 will stay close between W. Dorothy Lane and Cardington Road while the investigation continues.
