DAYTON — A University of Dayton men’s basketball freshman has been honored by the Atlantic 10.

Amaël L’Etang was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week for the third time this season for his play last week against Davidson and VCU.

He led Dayton to a 69-63 win over Davidson on Feb. 4.
L’Etang had his second double-double of the season: 13 points and 13 rebounds in 31 minutes.
He also blocked two shots and had two steals.
L’Etang played 17 minutes in a 73-68 loss against VCU on Feb. 7. He finished with four points, three boards, and two assists.
The UD freshman was named A-10 Rookie of the Week on Nov. 25 and Jan. 27.
The Flyers are 16-8 overall and 6-5 in the Atlantic 10.
Their next game will be Wednesday at Fordham in Bronx, NY at 7 p.m.
