Tornado touched down in Ohio Sunday, NWS confirms

MARYSVILLE — Ohio likely saw its last tornado of the year on Sunday.

An EF0 tornado touched down just west of Marysville around 3 p.m., the National Weather Service confirmed.

The tornado toppled a small silo, several small to medium-sized trees and caused minor damage to a barn.

There also was damage a third of a mile north to a large metal barn.

The estimated peak wind speed was 70 miles per hour, according to the NWS.

This is Ohio’s 74th tornado, according to Storm Center 7 Weather Specialist Nick Dunn.

No injuries were reported.
