City finalizes purchase of Tipp Plaza, plans future improvements

TIPP CITY — Tipp City leaders announced that the city closed on its purchase of the Tipp Plaza on Feb. 24.

The property is located on West Main Street, just off I-75 in Tipp City.

As previously reported by News Center 7, the city spent $7 million on this purchase after receiving complaints about the run-down conditions.

TRENDING STORIES:

A spokesperson for the city said they are to improve the parking lot, landscaping, and the mechanical aspects.

They will also be evaluating the property’s exterior and making recommendations for repairs.

The city expects to have conceptual drawings done within the next 60 days.
