COLUMBUS — A suspect is dead, and two officers were injured after the suspect allegedly rammed a vehicle into an Ohio police cruiser on Friday.

The suspect hit into a Columbus Police cruiser at around 4:45 a.m. in the 2900 block of Sullivant Avenue, according to our news partner WBNS in Columbus.

Police pursued the suspect and the chase ended at a middle school, according to dispatchers.
Medics transported the suspect to an area hospital and was pronounced dead just before 6 a.m.
Both officers were taken to two different hospitals. They are in stable condition, WBNS said.
