Parkway Local Schools in Mercer County is closed due to 'excessive road flooding'

MIAMI VALLEY — A local school district is delayed due to flooding.

Parkway Local Schools in Mercer County announced that it is now closed, according to a social media post.

The school district said it was due to “excessive road flooding.”

Parkway Local Schools announced earlier this morning that it was on a two-hour delay.

Auglaize and Mercer counties are under a Flash Flood Warning until 9 a.m.
