SANDUSKY — A trip to the grocery store ended with someone being $20,000 richer.

The $20,000 winning VIP Millions scratch-off was sold at the Kroger at Perkins Avenue in Sandusky, according to Ohio Lottery.
VIP Millions is one of the more expensive games at $50 per scratch-off.
There were 475 $20,000 winners remaining as of January 24, 2025.

The lottery says the winner will get around $14,400, after taxes.
The $20,000 is not the game’s top prize.
The VIP Millions scratch-off game has a top prize of $40,000 annually for 25 years.
There were 47 of those top prizes remaining as of January 24, 2025.
