News Center 7 first reported on Unregulated LTD on Friday.
On Kay Court in Riverside, three neighbors signed a contract with Aaron Mangum-Cox, owner of Unregulated LTD.
They say Cox came out and tore down their fence but hasn’t replaced it with the new one.
The neighbors filed police reports on Oct. 22.
William Jones told officers how he and his neighbors hired Cox to build fences in their backyards.
The contracts showed Jones gave Cox more than $3,000 to start the work.
His next-door neighbor paid more than $4,300 and the third neighbor paid more than $3,000.
On Monday, News Center 7 spoke with Cox on the phone.
He shared an email from one neighbor. It said they would drop the police reports if Cox would finish the work by Nov. 8. It’s unclear if he responded to that email.
The Ohio Attorney General’s Office confirmed that Jones filed a complaint with its office.
A man from New Carlisle also filed a complaint.
He said he hired Cox and gave him $4,000, but has not seen any work. Now that person told the Attorney General that he wants his money back.
Cox said these continued complaints are not true and he has emails and proof of communication with his customers.
News Center 7 will continue to follow this story.
