MIAMISBURG — One person is dead after a crash in Miamisburg Tuesday night.

As reported on News Center 7 at 11, Miamisburg police and Miami Valley Fire were called to the 400 block of South Linden Avenue for reports of an injury crash around 7:20 p.m.

An initial investigation found that a 63-year-old man was traveling north in the 400 block South Linden when he was unable to negotiate a curve, drove onto the property, and came to a stop after hitting a detached garage, according to Miamisburg police.
Bradley Mohr lives across the street from where the crash happened.
“There was a truck that came down here, must have hopped off onto the side and hit over multiple of the trees which I heard with a bunch of heavy metal slams,” he said.
Mohr immediately went outside to see what was going on.
He was sad to learn the crash was deadly.
“Having lost people to traffic-related incidents, hopefully, they can find some peace in the coming and ... face their grief,” Mohr said.
Mohr said his friend a drunk driver killed his friend.
“Grief is never easy. So hopefully, hopefully they will have peace in the end with it, of course, like any kind of trouble see good people, seek professional help if necessary,” he said.
Additional details about the crash were not released by police.
