CINCINNATI — A Cincinnati Reds star says he will be on the cover of an MLB video game.

Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz announced on social media that he is joining some MLB legends on the cover of “MLB The Show 25.”

“I’m excited to be on the cover of ‘MLB: The Show 25,’” he said in a post on Instagram. “You already know I’mma beat everyone.”
Previous covers include Ken Griffey Jr., Aaron Judge, Bryce Harper, Fernando Tatis Jr., Shohei Ohtani, and Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
The video game has not officially announced the 2025 cover star but posted a teaser video on social media Sunday.
De La Cruz hit 25 home runs and stole 67 bases in 2024.
