News Center 7 previously reported the crash occurred at Little Richmond Road and North Snyder Road around 4:30 p.m.
It all started around 4 p.m. when a Moraine officer spotted a group of teens in a Ford Escape reported stolen in Fairborn.
He follows and when they don’t pull over right away, he’s close enough to fire a GPS dart onto the car.
When it’s clear the teenagers won’t stop the officer ends the case.

Sgt. Andrew Parish with Moraine police said that dart sends a signal to a portal that officers can access online.
Officers continued to track the car online until it came to an abrupt stop 27 minutes later.
A Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office detective was nearby and found that the Ford had been involved in a serious crash with another car.
“He had notified us that an individual was running from the car and that he was holding that individual at gunpoint,” Parish said.
The crash is being handled by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers said that the Ford failed to yield to other cars at the intersection and was hit by a car driven by a 61-year-old man.
Three people were inside the Ford, Dominick Parlett, 18, and two juveniles. News Center 7 does not name juveniles unless they are being charged as adults.
Parlett and a juvenile in the car were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The other juvenile in the car sustained life-threatening injuries and was flown to the hospital.
The 61-year-old driver was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Officers said the new technology often does convince drivers to slow down.
“Then we’re able to converge on it and either make apprehensions or recover that vehicle for evidentiary purposes. Or if it’s a stolen vehicle, being able to recover the vehicle to its rightful owner,” Parish said.
We will continue to follow this story.
