DAYTON — One person is seriously injured after they were hit by a car in Dayton, according to a Dayton Police Officer on scene.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Troy Street and Edmund Street around 2:30 p.m.

The officer on scene said one person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but could not provide further information.
News Center 7 crews on scene said caution tape is blocking off the crash and an SUV has heavy damage.
