DAYTON — Multiple dogs died in a fire in Dayton Thursday morning.

Dayton fire crews were called to a fire in the area of North Upland Avenue and Edison Street around 10:50 a.m.
Crews arrived and found a fire that involved multiple small structures in the back of a home on Burleigh Avenue, according to Assistant Fire Chief Brad French.

Multiple dogs were found to be dead as a result of the fire.
Video from the scene shows several large kennels in the back of the home.
The fire has been deemed accidental, French said.
