Motorcyclists to gather in Xenia for ‘Blessing of the Bikes’ today

XENIA — Today thousands of motorcyclists will gather in Greene County for “Dayton Blessing of the Bikes”.

The event will be held at Kil-Kare Raceway on Dayton-Xenia Road in Xenia.

The annual event gives bikers the opportunity to have their bikes blessed for a safe riding season.

Gates will open at 10:00 a.m and it costs $5.00 per bike.

The proceeds go to “Greenebucs”, the Greene County chapter of Ambucs whose mission is to provide help and support for adults and children with disabilities.

The blessing will be administered by clergy from the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
