Man shot, killed while waiting in line at Ohio Subway restaurant

GAHANNA, Ohio — A man is dead after a shooting at a Subway restaurant in Ohio on Friday, according to our media partners WBNS-10 TV.

The shooting happened at the Subway in the 300 block of Stoneridge Lane in Gahanna around 1:20 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a man on the floor with an apparent gunshot wound, according to Deputy Chief of Police Jeffrey Lawless.

The man was pronounced dead at approximately 1:41 p.m.

WBNS-10 reports that the man was a customer and was shot in the head with a semi-automatic pistol while waiting to order food.

Lawless said the suspect was found sitting on the curb outside the restaurant with no clothes on and his hands in the air.

William Marshall, 30, was charged with aggravated murder in connection to the shooting, according to a police complaint obtained by WBNS-10.
