MIAMI TOWNSHIP, Montgomery County — A 28-year-old man was seriously injured after he was hit by a car in Miami Township Monday afternoon, according to a Miami Township Police crash report.

The crash occurred at the intersection of State Route 741 and W Alex Bell Road around 4:15 p.m.

An initial investigation found that the man entered the crosswalk without the proper signal and was hit by a Chevrolet Impala car, according to the report.
Medics transported the man to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Officers on scene believe the man was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, according to the report.
The driver of the Impala was not injured in this crash.
