Kyree Whitaker, 19, was sentenced to a total of 15 to almost 20 years in prison, according to the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office.
When released, he will be on a post-release control for an additional two to five years.
This comes after Whitaker pleaded guilty back in December to one count of involuntary manslaughter and three counts of aggravated robbery, Montgomery Common Pleas Court records indicate.
As previously reported by News Center 7, this is connected to the shooting death of 20-year-old Isaiah Murray.

When police got to the scene, they found Murray dead from a gunshot wound to the head.
Whitaker was the second person to be charged in connection to the shooting.
