MIDDLETOWN — Middletown police are investigating a homicide, according to a post from the Middletown Division of Police.

Police were called to the 3700 block of Lacy Court for a person lying on the ground, police say.

Officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds at the scene, and he was transported to a local hospital, according to police.
The man died at the hospital, police say.
Middletown police are investigating this incident as a homicide. They have not released victim identification yet due to pending family notification, police say.
Middletown police are asking anyone with information on the shooting to contact them.
