The judge revoked his bond and ordered him into custody around 12:06 p.m.

Before deputies arrived in the courtroom, Nix allegedly broke a courthouse window, jumped out of the window and ran away, the spokesperson said.

Deputies saw Nix in the courthouse parking lot and tried to take him into custody.

Nix reportedly got into a car and started to accelerate. A deputy tried to pull Nix out of the car but was briefly dragged when he started driving away.

The spokesperson said the deputy sustained minor injuries.

Authorities started chasing Nix through the streets of Wapakoneta and continued onto Interstate 75 North.

Nix was arrested without incident and booked into the Wood County Jail.

He is now facing identity theft and fleeing and eluding charges, according to the spokesperson.
