MIAMI TOWNSHIP — A man is in jail and another has serious injuries after a stabbing in Miami Township Wednesday.

On Jan. 29 just before 2:30 p.m. Miami Township officers and medics were called to a stabbing at a home on Orchard Run Road.

When officers arrived they found “a suspect actively assaulting a man with a knife,” according to a media release.
Officers took Mario Agak, 40, into custody and immediately treated the victim, 41, who was taken to the hospital with serious wounds.
Agak is being held in the Montgomery County Jail on initial charges of attempted murder and felonious assault.
Police did not identify the victim and said they were working to learn the motive.
