Riley had bulk amounts of narcotics mailed to his house on Symmes Avenue in Hamilton through USPS, according to court documents.
Authorities intercepted a package with fake sender and recipient names on its way to Riley’s house in November 2022.
The office said this package had more than two kilograms of methamphetamine inside.
FBI agents later executed a search warrant at Riley’s house and found the following:
- 1,000 fentanyl pills
- 40 pounds of marijuana and cocaine
- Drug trafficking paraphernalia
- High-end jewelry
- $18,500 in cash
Riley also illegally possessed at least 15 firearms, firearm magazines, and ammunition, according to the office.
Four of the firearms were reported as stolen and another had a distorted serial number
“The other firearms included an Akdal Arms, 12 gauge semi-automatic shotgun and a Hi-Point nine millimeter high-powered rifle,” the office said.
Riley pleaded guilty to possessing with the intent to distribute at least 500 grams of methamphetamine and at least 40 grams of fentanyl, as well as cocaine and marijuana in July 2024.
He also admitted to illegally possessing a firearm as a previously convicted felon.
The office said Riley was caught smuggling dozens of suboxone strips and amphetamines into the Butler County Jail several times while detained in this case.
