JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, Montgomery County — At least one person was taken to the hospital after a two-car crash in Montgomery County, a Montgomery County dispatch supervisor confirmed.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Germantown Pike and Infirmary Road in Jefferson Township just before 2 p.m.

Initial reports indicate that the two cars were heavily damaged.
Fire crews had to help one driver get out of their car due to the door being stuck, the supervisor said.
One person was transported to a local hospital, but it is unclear how serious their injuries are.
