SPRINGFIELD — Several callers described what they heard to dispatchers after a shooting in Clark County on Wednesday.

As previously reported by News Center 7, a man called Springfield dispatchers and told them he shot and killed his ex-girlfriend in the 700 block of Villa Road.
As one man was on the phone with 911 dispatchers, screaming could be heard in the background.
“I heard five minutes ago gun shots. Someone is on the ground right now. My neighbors are screaming,” one man said in a 911 call News Center 7 obtained by a public record request.
He also told the dispatchers, “It looks like she’s bleeding. There’s some blood around her head.”
Another man called 911 and said he heard about six gunshots.
“I just heard gunshots, 715 Villa Road. There’s a Haitian female yelling,” the caller told dispatchers.
A woman caller said she was in bed when the shooting happened.
“I was laying in my bed and I heard what sounded like three gunshots and then a woman scream. Then three more guns hots that was right by my bedroom window.”
“Six shots in total?” the dispatcher asked.
“Yes,” she answered.
