PIQUA — A local school announced it will not have classes on Friday after a “huge” number of sick students.

Around 30 percent of its students are out of school for sickness or being sent home sick, Piqua Catholic School said on social media.

Because of this both campuses of Piqua Catholic will be closed Friday, Feb 7.
The school reminded families to follow guidelines for sending their children back to school after they have been sick.
