Robert Gresham is one of the lawyers representing Brian Moody’s family.

A family that loved the teenager very much.

“Brian was loved, he was a son, a brother, he was a good kid, he had no prior involvement with law enforcement,” Gresham said.

A spokesperson for Trotwood-Madison City School District confirmed that Moody was a student at the school last year but was not currently enrolled.

“We are deeply saddened by the incidents which caused the tragic loss of this young person’s life,” they added.

A Dayton Police Report obtained from August 2022 contained Moody’s name, but he was not arrested during the incident.
