DAYTON — Girls Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) have kicked off their 2025 Girl Scout Cookie season. This year will mark the final year for two cookie flavors.

GSUSA announced that this cookie season will be the last for Girl Scout S’mores® & Toast-Yay!®, both of which will be retired.

S’mores, crunchy graham sandwich cookies with chocolate and marshmallow filling, were introduced in 2017, CNN reported.
GSUSA launched Toast-Yay! cookies in 2021. Shaped as a piece of toast, the cookies are French toast flavored and dipped in icing.
A reason for the retirement of these specific cookies was not immediately revealed.
The Girl Scouts of Western Ohio are taking orders in their neighborhoods now through March 16. Cookie booths in western Ohio will open starting Feb. 14, according to their website.
