CLARK COUNTY — Firefighters extinguished a large barn fire in Clark County Sunday morning, according to the Madison Township Fire and EMS.

The fire was reported in the 8000 block of Old Springfield Road in South Charleston after 8 a.m.

No people or animals were injured in this fire, according to the fire department.
The barn is considered a total loss.
Photos from the scene show a large plume of black smoke coming from the fire and a building that appears to have collapsed.
Pitchin Village Fire Department, Cedarville Township Volunteer Fire Department and Harmony Township Fire Department assisted Madison Township on scene.
