Dayton police and firefighters were dispatched just after 6:50 a.m. to the 800 block of Patterson Boulevard near Grismer Tire on reports of a garbage truck on fire.
News Center 7′s Xavier Hershovitz is at the scene.
Photos show a Waste Management truck on fire and firefighters are extinguishing it.
Dayton Police have closed S. Perry and Stout streets.
Several officers and firefighters are on the scene.
