COLUMBUS — Ohio State is asking fans to help send the football team to Atlanta.

The Buckeyes leave for Atlanta for the College Football Playoff National Championship this afternoon, according to a social media post.
OSU says fans are welcome to line up on the sidewalks along Borror and Jack Nicklaus Drives to cheer them on.
The Buckeyes depart from the Woody Hayes Athletic Center around 4:30 p.m.
Parking for today’s send-off is free. Fans can park near Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
Ohio State plays Notre Dame on Jan. 20 at 7:30 p.m. at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
