MONTGOMERY COUNTY — A driver was pulled over for going 52 miles over the speed limit on Interstate 75 South in Montgomery County on Saturday.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said a deputy caught the driver going 117 in a 65 near the Needmore Road exit around 9 p.m.

The driver was cited for speed and reckless operation.
“Remember, your safety and the safety of others depends on responsible driving,” the sheriff’s office said.
Authorities would like to remind drivers to slow down and drive responsibly.
