Tywanda Henderson, from Harrison Township, had planned to meet at the new Centerville restaurant with a friend, but that friend never showed up.
It didn’t stop Henderson from making tons of new ones as she and dozens of other people lined up outside the new Chicken Salad Chick.
“Something new. We’re gonna try and see what it’s like,” Henderson said.
Some people said they skipped work, others got up early, and one woman got to the restaurant at 8:30 yesterday morning to secure her place in line.
“I know some people are gonna watch this story and they’re gonna say, Are these people nuts? We are not crazy! We just wanna have fun and enjoy free stuff,” Henderson said.
