OHIO — A discount grocery store chain has announced its plans to keep expanding.

Aldi will be opening 17 new stores across nine states.

The stores will be located in Alabama, Florida, Missouri, Mississippi, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Wisconsin.
According to the Aldi website, the new Ohio locations include:
- 9450 Fields Ertel Road in Cincinnati, Hamilton County
- 12782 Rockside Road in Garfield Heights, Cuyahoga County
- 9570 Ohio 14 in Streetsboro, Portage County
It’s unclear when the stores will open.
Aldi previously announced that the company plans to open 800 new stores in the country by the end of 2028.
After these stores are open, the company says it will be operating roughly 3,200 stores across the nation.
