Car involved in hit-and-run found, deputies say

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — A Motorcyclist was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash in Harrison Township early Sunday morning. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s office asked the public if anyone recognized the car involved.

Deputies say the vehicle is a 2005 Gold Chevrolet Malibu. The vehicle has since been located, deputies say.

The owner of the vehicle is not cooperating with deputies, according to the sheriff’s office.

Around 12:58 a.m. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the area of Siebenthaler Ave and Catalpa Dr on reports of a crash.

Upon arrival, crews found a man whose motorcycle had been rear-ended by an unknown vehicle.

The vehicle fled southbound on Catalpa Dr, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
