MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO — Deputies have arrested an escaped inmate and woman who reportedly assisted with his escape.

The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday morning they arrested Wayne Pletcher and Sara Moore without incident, according to a social media post.
As previously reported by News Center 7, the 37-year-old man escaped from the Muskingum County Jail Saturday morning.
Pletcher reportedly ran onto 4th Street, which is just outside the jail.

Deputies believe he had help from Moore.
Our news partner WBNS in Columbus reports that the sheriff’s office said Pletcher and Moore were capture and arrested in Muskingum Monday between 11 p.m. and midnight.
Pletcher was previously being held on multiple felonies, including tampering with evidence and a warrant for failure to appear.
Both are being held in the Muskingum County Jail.
