DAYTON — The National Weather Service (NWS) said a record amount of rain fell in Dayton on Sunday.

A new record of 1.65 inches of rain was recorded in Dayton, according to the NWS.

It broke the previous record of 1.16 inches of rain set in 2019.
South of Dayton, Cincinnati broke a 114-year rainfall record, NWS said.
A record rainfall of 1.16 inches was set in Cincinnati on Sunday.
The previous record was 1.09 inches set in 1910.
