TIMING:
Dangerous wind chills will continue through Wednesday.
Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Britley Ritz says the current data points towards a slight break today from intense wind chills. But conditions are still dangerous with wind chills between zero to -15 degrees.
Wednesday morning still looks to present the worst of the cold with wind chills around -20 to -25 degrees possible.
IMPACTS
Frozen pipe risks will be heightened, along with frostbite and hypothermia risks.
Covering as much exposed skin as possible will help mitigate some of the risks of frostbite, according to Ritz.
Limiting time outdoors will be the best solution if possible.
Keeping pets indoors is also a great idea.
