RIVERSIDE — The woman killed in a shooting in Riverside last week has been identified.

Shyanne Mitchell, 30, was identified on Tuesday by the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.
As previously reported by News Center 7, police and medics responded to the 4700 block of Opperman Avenue shortly before 3 p.m. on Friday on reports of a shooting.
Major Angela Jackson, with Riverside Police, confirmed the shooting was being investigated as a homicide on Friday.
“There is one victim and one suspect,” Jackson said.

Online jail records show that Halle Harvey was arrested by Riverside police in the 4700 block of Opperman Avenue on suspicion of murder on Friday. Murder and felonious assault charges have been filed against her in Montgomery County Municipal Court, according to online court records.
