Borden and another man were found shot multiple times near the 2400 block of Orange Avenue shortly before 11 p.m. on Sunday.
Police said Thursday that the other man remains in serious condition at an area hospital.
A 911 caller told dispatchers that it sounded like “two different guns going off, like they’re shooting at each other” and noting hearing what sounded like a shotgun and a pistol.
Moraine Police previously said their detectives had a lot of potential leads to check. They believe a road rage incident, or a robbery or drug deal, could have led to the shooting.
“I think our investigators are looking into a possibility of at least one vehicle that was seen leaving the area,” Parish told News Center 7.
The shooting remains under investigation by Moraine Police. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Moraine Police at (937) 535-1166.
