Coroner IDs man found dead in Dayton

DAYTON — The man whose body was found in Dayton on Sunday has been identified.

Trenton Ladd, 25, was identified by the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office on Monday.

As previously reported, Dayton police were called to the area of E. Third and Bates Streets on reports of a dead body around 12:45 p.m. on Sunday.

Dayton Police Lieutenant Steven Bauer said officers located Ladd upon arrival. He was found dead.

iWitness 7 photos showed at least seven police cruisers and crime scene tape blocking off the area.

Video from the scene showed a Dayton Police Department Forensic crew and several evidence markers.

Ladd’s cause and manner of death have not been determined at this time.

Detectives with the Dayton Police Department are investigating this death.
