MIAMI VALLEY — Two school districts have canceled classes for students across the area.

Hardin-Houston School and Middletown Christian Schools announced on social media that there will be no classes today.

Classes are canceled at Hardin-Houston Schools “due to water service issues within the building,” the school district wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
As previously reported by News Center 7, they were closed Thursday for the same reason.
They added, “UVCC, JC/MD, and parochial buses will run on their normal schedule.”
Middletown Christian Schools (MCS) said they are closed today, “due to a high percentage of staff and students with illnesses,” according to a Facebook post.
They added that evening activities will continue as scheduled tonight as well as Sunday’s Open House.
Hardin-Houston School is closed to on-campus students on Friday, January 31st, due to water service issues within the building.
