The building is a multi-purpose building that houses different businesses, including a counseling center and a pediatrician’s office, Pediatric Associates of Dayton, Inc.
Rebecca Kolssak works as a therapist in the building and said she and her colleagues were in their offices when they heard a “loud thump.”
She told me sometimes the atrium’s front door slams on windy days and they thought that’s what the noise was, until a few minutes after that thump.
“Someone came up to our office and let us know that we had to evacuate the building because a car had hit the building,” Kolssak said. “And sure enough, we come out and there’s a hole in the building.”
