She told WXIX TV in Cincinnati that Schnurr did not damage his spinal cord.
The spokesperson also told Cincinnati media outlets that the surgery went well and Schnurr continues to recover.
Our news partner WCPO in Cincinnati reported back in May that Archbishop Schnurr was diagnosed with Stage 3 bowel cancer.
News Center 7 has contacted the Archdiocese of Cincinnati for an update on Archbishop Schnurr.
We will update this story.
